Care Worker & Contract Management

How to manage your care workers and contracts within the Mycare platform

Navigating the Care Workers Tab

The Care Workers tab (on the left hand navigation bar) is the central place for you to manage your worker relationships.  It contains three main sections:

My Care Workers

This section lists all workers that you have had a contract with, or have invited.  Both past and present workers are shown here, but you may 'remove' a worker from this area if you no longer work with them (see below).

From this section you can do the following:

  • Start a chat with the worker

  • View past and upcoming visits with the worker

  • See associated contracts
  • Enable the worker to book visits on your behalf (if you choose)
  • Remove a worker (this can only occur if there are no further visits or open contracts with the worker)

Favourites

You can favourite a worker profile at any time.  This can be helpful if you see workers that you feel may be a good fit for you, and you want to save their profile to message them at a later date.

Candidates

This shows anyone who has applied (or you have reached out to) regarding your current open listings.

From here you can track applications/opportunities for your role, view worker profiles and initiate a chat conversation, or you may 'reject' an application (send a prepopulated but editable message saying they are not the right fit).

Contract Management

Any contracts you have had on Mycare can be found on the 'Contracts' tab on the left hand menu.

Types of Contracts

  • Active: Currently open and has bookings

  • Pending: Contract created and booking(s) exist, but the care worker has not yet accepted or signed the contract
  • Closed: Past contracts that have been closed

It's a good idea to 'close' contracts where you no longer book the worker.  This will keep your Mycare account (and the workers) easy to use and only showing current information.
