Completing your worker profile
Mycare is an online community that connects people seeking and offering home-based services. We take safety seriously. As a Mycare worker, you must complete a few trust and safety verifications before you can apply for jobs.
Email and Phone Verifications
Email and phone verifications are done in the signup process, these will be verified via a code sent to each of the above. We don't allow anyone to sign up without a verified email and phone number, so that everyone on the platform can be sure they are dealing with real people.
Consider your profile as your Mycare resume - this is how prospective clients will get to know a little about you.
Profile
Please fill out all relevant parts of your profile. This is where you will tell people a little about yourself, add a profile photo, tell them your availability and what type of services you provide.
Documents
As part of your onboarding, we require you to upload to your account a number of documents that help us verify who you are. These are not visible to anyone else on the platform, and are compulsory before you can start applying for jobs. These documents are:
-
A valid photo ID (this is passport, NZ drivers license, Kiwi Access card)
- Proof of address - this is a recent utility bill, bank statement or IRD correspondence that clearly shows your full name and postal address
- Proof of NZ working rights - your NZ/Australian passport or birth certificate or a valid residency/open class working visa
- NZ Police Vetting form - you can download this from our onboarding page
Payments
Please provide the bank account you would like to be paid into, and also your IRD number. We also need to know your country of tax residence, which for most people will be New Zealand.
