Mycare Contracts
Once you and your client have agreed to start working together, the client will start the booking process.
Contracts and Why They Are Important
When the client creates this first booking it will create a clear and professional contract between you both, ensuring transparent agreements every time. Having a contract is important as it protects both the client and the worker. A contract records the agreed rates of pay and terms and conditions so they cannot be changed without agreement from both parties.
Contracts on Mycare record agreed pay rates and terms, including the obligations of both the organiser and the support worker under Mycare’s Terms of Service. Support workers operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax obligations.
If no contract is created through Mycare, the arrangement sits outside the platform and Mycare’s payment processing, insurance cover provided through the platform, and dispute support do not apply.
The contract will be digitally signed, this will need to be done before you submit your first visit. No paperwork or printing is needed.
Can I have multiple Contracts?
Yes, you can have multiple contracts. They can be different pay rates with the same client or contracts with different clients.
Where do I view my contracts?
