How do I end an agreement with a worker?

You can cancel your agreement at any time subject to the terms of that agreement.

As your worker is a contractor there is no specified notice period, unless this has been discussed and agreed upon prior to contracting them.

When you want to end an agreement with a worker, please let them know. It is always helpful, if you feel comfortable, to give them feedback about why you are ending an agreement to provide services to you.

There are many reasons you may choose to end an agreement:

  1. The period of support you require has ended
  2. You are unhappy with the quality of support they provide
  3. The worker has not turned up or has not been punctual. The expectation is that a worker will give you 24 hours notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled visit
  4. You may no longer wish to contract them for your own personal reasons

Mycare is here to help and wants to support you resolve any problems you may encounter with a worker that may lead to an agreement being ended. We take any allegations of poor care, dishonesty, poor punctuality, incompetence or poor communication very seriously and will take appropriate action to address this immediately if you have concerns.
