How to turn your browser into an app on your device

Create a web browser shortcut to easily access your Mycare account straight from your device home screen.

Select your internet browser:

• Chrome
• Safari
• Microsoft Edge 
• Samsung Internet

Chrome

Mobile:

1. Open Chrome
2. Go onto the page you want to add. Recommended - https://app.mycare.co.nz/
3. On the top right, click More
4. Click on Add to home screen
5. Name the app
6. Save to a convenient spot on your mobile

Desktop/Laptop:

1. Follow steps 1-3 as above
2. Go to Cast, Save and Share
3. Click on Install page as app
4. Name the app
5. Save to a convenient spot on your home page screen 

Safari

Mobile 

1. Open Safari
2. Go onto the page you want to add. Recommended - https://app.mycare.co.nz/ 
3. On the bottom navigation select Share
4. In the menu scroll and select Add to Home Screen
5. Name and click Add

Desktop/Laptop

1. Open Safari
2. Go onto the page you want to add. Recommended - https://app.mycare.co.nz/
3. On the top navigation select File
4. Click on Add to Dock
5. Edit name and select Add

Microsoft Edge

Desktop/Laptop

1. Open Microsoft Edge
2. Go onto the page you want to add. Recommended - https://app.mycare.co.nz/
3. On the top right click More
4. Go to Apps
5. Click on Install this site as an app
6. Name and place on home screen as most convenient

Samsung Internet

Mobile 

1. Open Samsung Internet
2. Go onto the page you want to add. Recommended - https://app.mycare.co.nz/ 
3. On the bottom right select More
4. Click on Add page to
5. Add to Home screen
