Insurance for workers

Yes, as a worker on Mycare, you are insured through Vero Insurance.

Am I Insured?

Yes, as a worker on Mycare, you are insured through Vero Insurance. The insurance policy covers Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. For each hour of work that a worker is paid through Mycare, workers have the benefit of the following insurance with Vero Liability:

  • Public Liability - up to $1,000,000 per claim
  • Professional indemnity cover - up to $1,000,000 of annual aggregate cover

For all claims, there is an excess of $1000.

  • Public Liability - Public liability insurance protects you in the event that accidents occur, and a claim is subsequently made against you.
  • Professional Indemnity - Insurance protection for claims for breach of professional duty or negligence resulting in financial loss.

The acceptance of each claim is up to the insurer and Mycare cannot 100% guarantee that the claim will be approved.

When/how can claims be made?

You can make a claim as long as there is a signed contract and bookings in place on Mycare before the event happens.
