When using a credit or debit card on Mycare, you can either upload it to your account (under Profile - Payments) or you will be prompted to load a card at the time of booking.
When do I get charged?
You will pay your visit cost at the time of booking, and the funds will sit safely in your Mycare Account until the visit has been completed, submitted and approved for payment.
Example: if you hire a worker for 1 hour at $30 per hour you will be charged $33 ($30 plus a $3 platform fee) at the time of booking. Once the visit has been completed and approved, these funds are released to both the worker ($30) and Mycare ($3). If the visit ends up being cancelled for any reason, the funds will remain in your Mycare wallet and become available to be used for future bookings (or you can request a refund at any time).
Note:
- If a visit is cancelled for any reason, you won't be charged by the worker, and Mycare won’t charge a platform fee.
- If a visit is changed and costs more or less than the original visit, you will be charged the increased amount at the time of the change (or if a decrease this will sit in your account for future use or refund).
- The platform fee is inclusive of GST.
