What if I no longer want to work with a client?

If you have an ongoing agreement with the client, you can cancel/stop at any time subject to the terms of that agreement.

As you are a contractor there is no specified notice period, unless this has been discussed and agreed upon prior to being contracted.
When you want to end an agreement with a client, please let them know and give as much notice as possible. If you feel comfortable, it is always helpful to give them feedback about why you are ending an agreement to provide services to you. There are many reasons you may choose to end an agreement:

  1. The period of support required has ended.
  2. You are unhappy with the environment or role of the role
  3. The client has cancelled or rescheduled visits with little communication and time. The expectation is that a client will give you 24 hours' notice if they are not needing care.
  4. You may no longer wish to contract for them for your own personal reasons.

Mycare is here to help and wants to support you in resolving any problems you may encounter with a client that may lead to an agreement being ended. We take any allegations of poor work environment, dishonesty, incompetence or poor communication very seriously.
