A step-by-step guide to creating bookings on Mycare.
Where can I book a visit?
Once you’ve found the right person, you can book visits instantly. It’s easy to organise their visits online and keep track of their activities.
There are a couple of places you can book visits from:
- The messages- once you and the worker have sent at least one message each you are given the option to book.
- The visits tab - located on the top banner, then select Create Visit.
- The Workers tab- also on the top banner, select the book under the worker who you want to book.
How do I book a visit?
1. Select the rate. If it is your first time booking a worker a contract will be made.
2. Choose the day and time. You should have already discussed this with the worker. You will also be able to see a summary of the visits when you are booking.
3. Add mileage and expenses. You can choose whether you want to pay travel or mileage expenses.
The expenses feature is unavailable for those using Enabling Good Lives and Individualised Funding as they are costs related to leisure, recreation and personal or family costs. Please refer to your IF host or Whaikaha- Individualised Funding.
4. You can assign tasks or activities for your worker to check off, and add a note about the visit. E.g. “It would be great if you could take the dog on your walk with Janey today.”
