Yes, you are able to use many types of funding to pay your Mycare support worker(s). Depending on the type of funding you have, the process can differ.
Individualised Funding
Mycare has an arrangement with most major Individualised Funding hosts, meaning you can use Mycare to book and pay for your worker each week, and with a simple approval process, your Individualised Funding host will pay Mycare directly each fortnight for the care received. Other Funding
If you have other types of government funding (for example ACC, supported living payments, disability allowances) you will be required to pay for your support worker on Mycare, and then self-claim from your funder using their process.
If you believe your funder will pay directly for your support worker then please contact us, and we’ll do our best to work with them and make this an easy process for you.
