When using a credit or debit card on Mycare, you can either upload it to your account settings or you will be prompted to load a card at the time of booking.
When do I get charged?
You will pay your visit cost at the time of booking (visits in a rolling 7-day window*), and the funds will sit in your Mycare Account until the visit has been completed, submitted and approved.
Example: if you hire a worker for 1 hour at $30 per hour you will be charged $33 ($30 plus a $3 service fee) at the time of booking. Once the visit has been completed and approved, these funds are released to both the worker ($30) and Mycare ($3). If the visit ends up being cancelled for any reason, the funds will remain in your Mycare wallet to be used for future bookings (or you can request a refund at any time).
Note:
- *You will be charged for everything in a rolling 7-day period, this means visits within 7 days of when you are booking. For visits outside of the 7 days, they will be charged when they fall into the 7-day window.
- If a visit is cancelled for any reason, you won't be charged by the worker, and Mycare won’t charge a service fee.
- If a visit is changed, the service fee will adjust in line with the length of the visit.
- The service fee is inclusive of GST.
